CO2 washer for your PlantedBox pressure regulator
This CO2 gasket is specially made for the PlantedBox CO2 pressure regulator. Before you connect the pressure regulator to your CO2 cylinder, install this washer between the bottle connection and the “fitting” of the pressure regulator. Then screw it on and you’re done.
I recommend replacing the washer when you replace the CO2 bottle.

Why should you replace your washer regularly?
Well, when connecting your pressure regulator, you may end up with a crack or scratch in your washer. Then the next time you replace your CO2 cylinder, CO2 may leak past that scratch. The result … your CO2 bottle runs out in a few days, your aquarium is without CO2 and you get algae.
So prevention is better than cure! In this package you receive a set of 3 pieces, with your pressure regulator you already received 1 piece.

These washers are specially made for the PlantedBox CO2 pressure regulator. It’s possible other brands will fit too but I cannot guarantee this.
How many washers are in 1 pouch?
One pouch contains 3 washers.
How often should I replace the washer?
I recommend replacing the washer preventively every time you change the CO2 cylinder. Longer is possible, but you do have a greater risk of leaks, especially if the washer is damaged.
