Super small CO2 bubbles

Made of strong acrylic

Super efficient thanks to finer bubbles

The Pro Diffuser has a completely new membrane. The advantage of this type of membrane is that it creates much finer bubbles than a classic diffuser.

Because the bubbles are nice and small, they are better carried along in the flow of your aquarium, so they better reach the plants, even in the more difficult places. The result: The CO2 dissolves better, is better absorbed by the plants, and this ensures healthier plant growth.

Made of acrylic: non-fragile

You might recognize this: you are doing some maintenance on your aquarium or your CO2 system and while you are at it, you accidentally break your glass CO2 diffuser.

Unfortunately, I have already experienced this a few times. That’s why I went in search of an alternative: a plastic version of the classic aquarium CO2 diffuser. The beautiful design and easy operation, but not the fragility. And that’s how I ended up with the Pro Diffuser!

By the way, it comes with two sturdy suction cups so that it always stays nicely in place in your aquarium.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much pressure do I need?

You need at least 1.5 bar working pressure for this diffuser to work properly. The PlantedBox aquarium pressure regulator is perfect for that!

How should I connect the diffuser?

Soften a 4/6mm CO2 hose by putting it in a glass of boiling water for 30 seconds. Then carefully slide the hose over the connection of the diffuser. When doing so, never push on the “bend” but hold the connection of the diffuser in between your fingers.

Does it work much finer than a classic diffuser?

Yes, this diffuser uses a different membrane so the bubbles are a much much finer and appear all over the surface of the diffuser.

Does the diffuser need to soak for a few days first?

The Pro CO2 diffuser works optimally after 24 to 48 hours in the water.

How should I maintain the diffuser?

When doing water changes, you can put it in a solution of 1 part bleach to 10 parts water for half an hour. Then rinse it very well and put it back.
