WHO AM I? MY STORY ...

Hi, I’m Gilles! I am the owner of PlantedBox. I myself had been struggling with algae for a very long time, so I recognize your frustrations.

My story? Sometime in 2010, I got a very stubborn infestation of thread algae, beard algae and blue algae. I had already tried everything and spent a fortune on materials. With no results, of course. I almost quit my hobby, it was that bad … At some point I decided to radically change everything, based on advice I had received on an American forum.
