Then you probably know how annoying it can be, floating bits of moss that stick around everywhere. And the worst part: once the pieces have settled somewhere they start growing from there, disturbing your aquascape.\u00a0Aquascaper George Farmer had the same problem, but found an ingenious solution &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!--more Lees snel verder! --><\/p>\n<h2>Pruning aquarium mosses without floating particles<\/h2>\n<p>The first thing you need is a &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/planted-box.com\/en\/product\/spring-scissor\/\">Spring Scissor<\/a>&#8220;, also available from PlantedBox. These aquarium scissors are extremely small and fit easily in the palm of your hand. Its special cut also makes it particularly suitable for pruning aquarium mosses without damaging the plant.<\/p>\n<p>Next, attach a filter hose to the side of the Spring Scissor using two straps that you tighten securely. Make sure the filter hose is as far in front as possible, but make sure the scissors still open properly.
